Morning good morning I'm I wore these shoes for the first time this past weekend of all day and I'm really only writing this review because there is a sweepstakes.

But if I'm being honest, I walked all over my house and property picking up some things and cleaning. I purchased these shoes for these activities. I really didn't plan on leaving my property in them and I am confident I won't because a few different times I got some shooting pains from the lack of support in the ball of the foot, I know the feeling because it's generally reserved to shoes that are on their way out. I considered sending them back but after about five hours, I didn't feel that pain anymore so I'm hoping that I will not feel it again. I'm taking that chance mostly because I don't have time to send it back either.

After many foot surgeries for multiple reasons including severe arthritis in my feet, I bought some orthotics from The Good Feet store. I love them; however, the shoes I was wearing were so expensive that I needed to find something different. Well, I tried a pair of D'Lites and was sold! They fit well and my feet really like them...that makes ME like them also! They are my go to church, go shopping, work outside/inside. I've several pairs now so there is always a couple "nice" pairs to go to church, shopping, etc. and a couple pairs for wearing around the house and outside . They are comfortable, last a long time (I am hard on shoes), and cheaper than shoes from sporting goods companies.

Very disappointed. The soles are coming off, and I have only worn them occassionally for a couple of months. The last pair I purchased lasted about 8 years before real wear began showing and the soles did not come off, but had been worn down from use. I contacted Skechers and this is the response I received:

2 months of occassional use does not seem like a "long period of time". Regarding "storage", I do not know what conditions they were in from the time they were manufactured (Date Code on Tag: October 2019), until they were ordered by me approximatley 7 months later, on April 28, 2020. I do know that, after I received them, and before I began wearing them, they were in their original box, in a closet that had adequate air flow and regulated temperature. (Note: I am a minimalist, so I do not have much in my closet.) And finally, I am OCD about cleanliness, so they have been cleaned and maintained.

After I received their response, I began research online, and discovered similar complaints, and the reason given being that it is the new type of glue they are using, so in my opinion, it is a defect. I should also note, though I did not include it in my complaint to Skechers, that after the first few times I wore the shoes, the printing on the insole stuck to my socks and began wearing. Just wanted to provide this information to anyone who may choose to read it. I am disheartened that Skechers are not what they use to be.

I would consider finding another shoe before purchasing this one! I have had them for maybe a few weeks or so now. Was trying to give them some time. But my feet never stop hurting. The heel is so large it feels like you're wearing 8in heels. My feet hurt every day all day long even more so now. And even after taking them off for the day. Literally just thinking about putting them on is a struggle i would rather go barefoot. Very disappointed I spent so much money on these. my first delivery was stolen then I get the second package and finally able to wear them they are nothing like what I tried on in the store. Please reconsider before purchasing!
