At my age (70) I need a bra that's going to do its job. I don't need lace, embroidery, satin or fancy colors (though this bra has all of those), but I do need function - preferably without padding or underwires. And this is my new bra of choice.

What I like:
The absence of padding and underwires means this bra is conforming to the shape of my body rather than forcing my body to conform to the shape of the bra. The resulting silhouette is higher and more youthful, but without looking like I stole Jayne Mansfield's bullet bra.

The bra is attractive (floral-patterned satin, lace edging on nearly every seam, and a wide range of color choices) while still being full coverage, with a wide 4-hook band and 1.5" padded straps.

The wide band and straps make for a very comfortable fit.

Outstanding value. I lost some weight recently and had to replace a few bras. These bras were each worn and washed twice a week for 6 months and they still look brand new; no stretching, no fading, no torn lace - even the hooks and eyes are still perfect.

What I don't like:
The straps are a bit short for me. This is a "me" problem - I have a long torso and most bra straps are short on me. However, I can usually deal with this by adjusting the straps to longest possible length. With this bra, the length is still about a half inch shorter than I would like. As I said, it's a "me" problem that I have with most bras.

The full cut and wide straps make it tricky to wear under tank tops or even scoop-necked tops. So I guess the tank tops will have to go because the bras are staying. ;-)

I love the support this bra provides and the wide straps but there are definitely improvements I would make. After wearing the bra all day it was a bit uncomfortable but I could live with that. The cups have seams that pucker and look bad under thinner tops. I call it my Barbie bra because of the pointy cups. I have been looking for a bra that actually holds my breasts up and this one does the trick but I wish it had smooth seamless cups like the back and side smoothing bras that I usually wear. Also the trim on the straps is a bit scratchy and could be eliminated. Smooth straps are definitely better. These bras are generally designed for mature women and comfort is the most important feature! I like the wider band under the bust because it does offer more support. So eliminate the cup seams and the lacy trim and you have a winner.

I’ve known about 18 hour bras for 50 years but never bought one because I thought I needed the support of an underwire. Now that I’m more “mature” I’m more concerned with comfort than anything else. After reading reviews, I purchased a size larger band size and a size smaller cup than I normally wear. The bra is comfortable but the band size was still too small. Luckily I had some bra extenders but even after adding them the band is still a bit tight. I normally wear a 38 DDD and purchased a 40 DD. Additionally, the sides give very little support. I would have to tighten the back at least 2 rows of hooks to get sufficient side boob support and then the bra would be uncomfortable. I would recommend the bra but I would caution you to size up.

I have never hated a bra as much as I hate this one! The hooks are a pain to try to connect. It’s easier to just pull it on over my head. While the straps are pretty comfortable, they SQUEAK!! If I move my shoulder or shrug, they squeak. I measured my body to order the correct size because I wanted to be comfortable during a wedding but this is very tight with no options, and the cups fold and make it seem like I have a LEGO block in each one. I even pulled liners from another bra to try to smooth the cups out but that only helps a tiny bit. They actually look lined in the photo but this thin fabric shows the 2 bumps - embarrassing.
