Ended up not using it.

Being new at residing a a portion of our fifth wheel, we ordered the filon, assuming we could apply it like the original. The material is very rigid and difficult to work with. Cutting large panels with a tin snips is very tedious and hard on your hands, as you can only take very small bites or it will splinter. Perhaps a Dremel or circular saw would work best, but it would produce a great deal of fiberglass dust and make only straight cuts. After cutting across the sheet, I decided to not use the panel and use West System epoxy on plywood to be painted. After watching many videos on laminating filon to plywood, there’s a reason why none of them tackled showing how to cut out a window and only showed laminating square, flat panels. I’ve learned a lot from this project, and reserving filon for professionals is one of them. It’s definitely a durable product, but very difficult to work with.
Disappointed with material arriving cracked

We were extremely disappointed with the fact that the material arrived with cracks in the center of it. It had to have been shipped out like that. The edges were fine. The tube it arrived in was not damaged and their were no fragile stickers or do not drop stickers on the tube. It was a purchase that was saved up for and a disappointment. Thank you for offering a place for comments
Exact match arctic white

This sheet was exactly what I needed to replace the propane storage tank door faces. The color was a perfect match to the original panels. The product shipped quickly and was very well protected. Shipping may have been less if it was packaged in a tube made for the 2’x8’ sheet vs the 6’ tube it came in. Regardless it worked perfectly

It looked great the 1st day however, once it went through an overnight cooling and warming cycle it shows many unpleasant signs of bending / warping. Each day over the following week the bending / warping got worse with each thermal cycle. That was a lot of work for such poor results. The only saving grace is that I am now confident the camper is water tight.
