I have been looking for an air purifier and this one by Germ Guardian was the perfect choice! Setting up this purifier was super simple and within a few minutes it was ready to go. This machine is super easy to use. I am currently using this air purifier in my living room. I like the design and the look of the machine, it is sleek and compact. When I first turned it on, my air quality was in the “average” range but within a few hours, my quality got to the “excellent” range. I couldn’t believe how fast it improved the air quality in my home. I can definitely notice a difference in my allergies since using this machine. The ultraviolet light feature can be turned on or off but I leave it on as it is great for reducing germs and odors. I have two dogs and this machine does amazing with getting rid of unwanted pet odors. I also like how quiet this machine is, there are 3 different fan modes depending on your preference. The sleep mode allows for the display lights to turn off so the lights don’t affect your sleep. I have been using this air purifier daily and it continues to work as great as it did when I got it. I am so impressed with this air purifier that I will be getting another one for my bedroom.

This is my second Germ Guardian air purifier. I actually have the older version of this that I still use.

Most of the air purifiers now are marketed as smart purifiers which I do not have the need for. This model is straight up great, it works without all of the extra features you are most likely not going to use. There is an air quality indicator, at the front where it shows you the color and on top where it shows you the numerical value. There are three settings, low, medium and high. Low is very quiet, you can barely hear it during bed time. The sleep mode will turn off all of the lights while running on low speed; good for people who likes to sleep dark. I wish there is an option to run it on medium or high speed in sleep mode.

It filters well, slim and the replacement parts are affordable.

It is a tall unit but has a handle in the back so you can move it easily. I set it up in a hall and it went right to work. It was reading 50-20 through out the day. I moved it to a bedroom and enclosed it in an area. The fan speed increased the green light turned yellow and the reading went up to 150.

The air seemed to be better after running the unit. My son with allergies noticed a difference especially at night when sleeping. I noticed a difference in the smells in the room.

I love this air filter, it looks nice and has really seemed to help with my husbands allergies, especially at night. We set it up on our room so the nighttime function is wonderful! (Nighttime button turns all the lights off while still allowing the filter to run). I also like that is has optional uv light that can be turned on with the push of a button. It was easy to set up straight out of the box; just take it out and plug it in. The replacement filters also seem fairly priced! The color change light indicators are also really cool because you can easily tell the air quality by the front light color(red,yellow,green).
