September 5, 2024Pros: adorable patterns, keeps temperature hot/cold, easy to clean, fairly indestructible, cute gift packaging. Con: not leak proof. Cup went sideways in my daughters bag, lid was fully screwed on and water still leaked out of the top sipping/straw areas. Not a dealbreaker for us as we were purchasing for the aesthetic mostly. Also would have preferred if the purple cup came with a purple dust bag instead of the same pink one the pink cup comes with to be able to tell them apart if you have them stored in a cabinet in the dust bag. I’ve never owned or purchased a Stanley before. I have ignored the hype. Daughter has tons that she has received as gifts. Was able to get my hands on the viral, sold out in seconds, Love Shack Fancy x Stanley Limited Edition Collaboration 40oz Tumblers and they are adorable. All of my daughters friends were desperate for them and thrilled that I was able to get some. Nice not to have to constantly refill your water during the day if you were sitting at a desk or something, but the cup is heavy.
[Rewarded Review] Stanley is Groovy, Baby. Yeah.

August 23, 2024I had seen all of the rage about Stanley tumblers but thought I would be just fine drinking out of my collection of Yetis. Things changed when Academy sent me a teaser e-mail about the new design made exclusively for them by Stanley. The bright, happy, psychedelic colors lured me in, so I anxiously awaited the day I could purchase one. Once I did, I didn't regret it. It's even cuter in person! I didn't know I needed a handle until now, but apparently, I do. It really keeps drinks cold for hours and sometimes, my ice from the night before is still in there when I open it in the morning. There are only 2 things I don't like. The first is having an open straw that I can't seal closed. I know I can solve this with a straw cap, but it's not ideal. The other thing that is a little frustrating is the screw-on lid. It sometimes takes me several attempts to get it aligned and on the right side. I see why they designed it this way since it can work for both left-handed and right-handed people, but it does take a little time and patience sometimes to get it on right. Overall, I love this mug and am now officially a member of the "Big, Dumb Mug" Club, but I'm not mad about it. :)
Great value and function

November 19, 2024This is a versatile insulated mug.
The handle is very comfortable and ergonomic. It has a higher grip textured surface area where the thumb and fingers grip the handle. The handle is also large enough to slide one's hand into the handle and grip the mug directly which is more comfortable if you are going to carry it for a while because it is slightly heavy when full.
I have several Yeti as well as this Stanley and it keeps beverages just as cold.
I compared the 40 oz, 1.18L Stanley vs the 40 oz Yeti. The Stanley holds the full 40 oz and doesn't push liquid out the top when one places the cap on like the Yeti does. The Yeti handle is smaller with sharper edges to the handle, and not as comfortable.
A great value

October 15, 2024Everyone in my house loves Stanley. We have all different cups. I love the variety of sizes and colors. The glittery cups are beautiful as well as the one with patterns. The only issue I have with them is the leaking. You have to buy stoppers for them because they won’t fix the leaking. I also put boots on all of ours because they do get scratched and scuffed up very easily. They are very fun and they look great decorated. Collecting Stanley’s is addicting and very expensive but it helps me get my water in. I don’t typically use mine for hot drinks but I can leave ice in my Stanley all day and over night and it will still be there the next day. They are also machine washable and just very rusty to clean in general given the size and shape.
