These booties are very cute. However, there is no support whatsoever in the foot bed. They are thin and flimsy. I guess that’s what makes them lightweight. I wouldn’t dare hike in them due to the lack of support. Im going to have to wear them with plush socks just to provide a little footbed comfort. I wear a 9 in most everything and based on other reviews I ordered these in a 9.5. Glad I did to make room for the socks. I don’t understand all of the reviews saying how comfortable they are. I don’t find that to be the case at all. I’ll keep them for running errands during the winter, the side zippers make them easy on, easy off. But I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone I know. I would not be able to wear these for any extended period of time or if I was going to be on my feet for any length of time. I have boringly normal feet, no high arches, medium to narrow width, no bunions, no nothing. Just normal feet. I’ve purchased numerous times from this brand at DSW over the years and this is the first time I’ve gotten a shoe from White Mountain that feels like it was made in a back alley.

The boots are super cute and I love the look. I especially appreciated that they have a zipper so I wouldn't have to lace and unlace every time I wore them. The description states "Easy zip-up closure with a lace-up front for a custom and secure fit." Perfect, right? Imagine the disappointment when the boots arrived and the zippers were stuck. I thought I must have received a defective pair, but then noticed a little tag attached the boots which stated the zipper was non-functional, and only meant to be decorative. Hmm, talk about misleading! Again, I love the boots and won't be returning them. But for some folks this might be a deal breaker. Five stars for the look and fit of the boots, one star for false advertising!

I ordered the STONE color because online it looks gray. When I opened the box they were definitely brown and weren't even close to the stone color online. I assumed they shipped the wrong color but the tag and picture on the box say stone and match what is in the box. Not sure where the mixup is happening at Carnival Shoes. That being said, I like the brown also so I'm keeping them. I haven't worn them yet so I can't state how comfortable they are although they seem comfortable when trying them on. They fit true to size 10m, but black seemed a hair smaller than stone.

I've always had to order a half size up in White Mountain shoes/boots, but I don't think these particular boots run extremely narrow. I'm a narrow, and still have plenty of room with wearing thick boot socks. Medium widths are almost always too wide in any boot, so yep, these were a perfect fit! Super comfortable, too. Love them.
