September 8, 2024I've been wondering about this concealer for YEARS. My life legitimately would've been better if I bought it a long, long time ago. I struggle with skin picking, and it's difficult to find a product that covers up those issues well. This concealer effortlessly hides fresh redness, active blemishes, old hyperpigmentation/scarring, and dark circles under the eyes. If I could only have one complexion product to use, it would be this one. One light touch in the pot with my finger picks up enough product to cover way more than I'd expect, with full coverage. It does not cling to or emphasize dry flaky skin, rather it smooths and hydrates those patches for me. I don't powder it, with a setting spray on top, it has the most beautiful natural, satin finish on well moisturized skin. If any rubs off through the day, I can easily layer a little more on to stay looking fresh, not cakey. If you have acne, skin picking issues, hyperpigmentation, darkness, anything that you struggle to cover with other products, please try this. Even though it is a small product, a little bit goes a very long way, and it IS worth the price. Also, this shade match for me, with fair skin, is literally perfect.
Magic! Wrinkly, dark circles: vanished

March 28, 2024Late 50s, light medium warm skin tone. But massive brownish greenish dark circles. I have tried hourglass, nars radiant concealer, charlotte tilbury, chanel, Dior, loreal age rewind, loreal age perfect, elf, Nyx, Tarte shape tape, jouer, peach corrector, orange corrector, yellow, pink. Translucent under eye setting powder, pink setting powder, settingAll looked better, but none really did a good job. Mikayla nogueira said nars soft matte complete concealer in creme brûlée is her all time favorite for literally everything which is why I bought it. After five years and hundreds of dollars later, I have found THE solution. NARS complete concealer in creme brûlée has been the best results of them all. So little product required. I still need to touch up four hours later, even after setting it, but the result is finally meeting my expectation of a concealer to hide my dark circles without accentuating my crepey under eyes. I'm thrilled. Thank you NARS. Thank you Mikayla!

February 28, 2024This product is insanely good. I've tried over a dozen concealers over the years. I always switch products when I finish one because I want to see what else is out there. I don't think I will switch again. Four things I love about this product. First, the packaging. I hate when product comes in tubes because you can't easily control what comes out, and you end up losing product that sticks to the sides of the tube. Second, the consistency. It is creamy, but not too thick. Light, but not too liquidy. Third, the coverage. When I first applied it, the best thing I could compare it to is using a blurring tool on photoshop. My current bobbi brown concealer would barely make a difference to my facial markings. One little tiny dab of this stuff and everything was completely concealed. Finally, the colour match was perfect. I'm pretty unlikely / bad at matching colour from internet photos, but the image of different women with the skin tones in question helped me a lot, and the shade I picked could not have been more perfect. I have to say that I am genuinely impressed. I rarely bother to write reviews but I felt that kudos was due to the folks who made this product. Really excellent product overall. Please don't ever change it.

October 7, 2023I actually have this concealer in 2 shades (Honey and Custard) at the current time and plan to buy another. Even though I am of medium skintone, moreso towards the lighter spectrum of medium, with a pink to sometimes peachy undertone, I’m able to use both shades as foundations. It takes only such a small amount for me to use to cover my entire face. Or, when I don’t choose to use it as foundation, I will use it as an eyeshadow base. Because, this product is a full coverage concealer in cream form, anything that you put on your face that is very emollient, whether it happens to be around the eye area or around your entire face, it will break down this product and cause it to crease and cake up. Because, plenty of moisturizers, are not makeup compatible. They are most compatible, when you are only rocking a bare face, w/o any makeup on. I am able to wear this cream concealer with absolutely no issues at all. It doesn’t have a noticeable scent to it, it provides excellent coverage, it has never caked, creased, or ended up looking weird on my face in anyway, and this is even several hours of wear. I have very sensitive eyes and it doesn’t irritate my eyes or ever make it water. If I am going to be out of the house for a few short hours, I don’t even put any setting powder over it, when I choose to wear it as a foundation. If I am going to be wearing it for well over 5 hours and i need for my makeup to look totally snatched for a very long extended period of time, then yes, I will apply setting powder over it, no matter whether I use it as foundation or as an eye base or even just using it in a typical concealer type of way, I will set it with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder and I am good to go. Even though I have dry/very dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin, this concealer doesn’t break me out like crazy. I get every trace of it off at night. Because, any makeup left behind will cause breakouts. Also, I do skip days from wearing makeup. Best for my pores.
